Production Supervisor Location: Hertford, Hertfordshire Hours: 8:15am - 4:45pm (Monday to Thursday), 8:15am - 1:15pm (Friday) | 37 hours per week Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Overview: A leading UK manufacturer specialising in high-quality equipment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities. This hands-on role requires effective leadership, strong organisational skills, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the production team to meet daily targets and delivery timelines. Oversee the preparation and management of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Work Instructions (WOI). Monitor workflow, troubleshoot production issues, and implement process improvements. Train, coach, and manage the performance of production staff to maintain high standards. Conduct planning meetings with sales and production teams to align on priorities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Skills and Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within manufacturing/production. Strong knowledge of production planning and workflow optimisation. Interest in mechanical products and understanding of how devices work. Experience with MRP systems is preferred. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.

About the Role: The successful candidate will oversee a skilled team, managing the assembly and testing of products that range from simple to complex. The role is dynamic, requiring a proactive approach to meet customer demands and maintain the company's high standards of quality.
