Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday Do you have experience in sheet metal / light alloy fabrication in an engineering role? Do you have experience in producing BOMs and Routings for products within a manufacturing environment? Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Production Support Engineer to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to support production with new product introduction, project requirements, and continuous improvement including design changes, drawings, programming, and process improvements. In return, our client is offering a salary depending upon experience, plus a 1pm finish every Friday, a production annual bonus, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 & Friday 08:00 - 13:00. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: Produce programs for NC punch and machining centres. Produce call-off lists for both products and components, modelling special / new parts as required. Create bills of materials and process routings on Baan, including ordering special materials / components. Assist with investigating and implementing design change requests and concessions. Support the Shop Floor Manager with continuous improvement projects. Support the Engineering Team Leader in scheduling PPM requirements for all machines and tooling used in the factory. The ideal candidate: Experience in sheet metal / light alloy fabrication in an engineering role. Experience of current manufacturing techniques in a low volume high customisation environment. Producing BOMs and Routings for products within a manufacturing environment. Formal qualification in Manufacturing Engineering.
