The role of the Team Leader is responsible for overseeing an area of the production process during the shift, leading a team of operatives to ensure that the KPIs and customer expectations are met in full and on time. You will collaborate closely with other departments to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, food safety, and quality standards.
What You Will Be Doing:
Leading a team of colleagues on the shift to ensure that the shift KPIs are met in full and on time. Fostering a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement. Scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, monitoring their performance, and providing constructive feedback. Dealing with day-to-day queries from colleagues - liaising with HR and Training Teams as required. Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records (including computerized/digital) on production, food safety data, and analyzing this data to identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement. Ensuring that food safety and health & safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. You are responsible for ensuring you take reasonable care of your own health and safety as well as others who may be affected by the work activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment, we will process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for the successful individual. Proven experience in a manufacturing or distribution centre environment. Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment. Experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment. Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment or distribution centre environment. Proven knowledge of warehouse and production environment. Benefits:
