X2 weeks of days, x2 weeks of Night Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's top 15 companies and local success stories to assist them with the recruitment of a Production Team Leader. Our client manufactures high quality products for the construction sector and exports them all over the world. With a dedicated internal learning and development team, this position will provide you with an extensive number of opportunities to grow, progress, develop and learn new skills and techniques to assist you with career progression. Key Responsibilities as a Production Team Leader:

Provide leadership to a team of people in all aspects of production, training, Health & Safety, housekeeping, Quality, appraisals, projects and discipline in a specific area of control; Have day-to-day responsibility for achieving the high standards of production and quality required within Production Departments; Play an integral part in improvement initiatives through team motivation and leading by example. As a Production Team Leader, Ideally you will have:

2 years recent experience of leading and motivating a team in a high-speed production environment within Manufacturing or Food; NVQ Level III in Management or a recognised management qualification; A working knowledge of Windows based software including Microsoft Excel; A strong technical background and be prepared to get involved in a 'hands-on' capacity when required; Practical experience of planning, scheduling and performance monitoring; Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills.
