Cell Leader / Production Team Leader / Manufacturing Lead required to join a manufacturer based in Farnborough, Hampshire.
The Cell Leader / Production Team Leader / Manufacturing Lead will be responsible for day-to-day people management, including conducting performance appraisals and identifying training requirements.
The successful Cell Leader / Production Team Leader / Manufacturing Lead will come from a similar team leader / supervisory background with exposure within a painting engineering team.
Package 16.50ph - 17.50ph 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension
Responsibilities Responsibilities include developing plans to efficiently use materials, labour, and equipment, with a focus on improving both wet and powder painting processes. Communicate and achieve production efficiencies aligned with staffing levels. Embed lean principles within the department and drive continuous improvement. Regularly review and adjust staffing levels to meet production needs. Clearly communicate production priorities and schedules to the team in conjunction with the Factory plan. Handle daily personnel matters, including managing annual leave and conducting performance appraisals. Oversee general departmental administration and manage raw materials and finished product inventory. Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with 7S principles. Purchase necessary inventory and maintain BOM status. Site based in Farnborough, Hampshire Requirements: Previous experience as a Cell Leader, Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Lead, Section Leader, Line Leader, or similar. Knowledge of wet and powder painting would be advantageous. Engineering supervisory, management or team leader experience preferred. Commutable to site based in Farnborough, Hampshire.
