Benefits for a Team Leader: Competitive salary Days only Monday Friday, No shifts 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays Opportunities for professional development and career growth Collaborative and inclusive work environment Team Leader Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee and manage the resources of a high-performing production team, producing a diverse range of premium products for signage and illumination applications, including roads, streets, car parks, schools, and pedestrian crossings. The role involves optimising production processes to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer orders while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will drive operational excellence, ensuring that production targets are met in alignment with company policies and procedures, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader: Maintain a safe, clean working environment ensuring that safety procedures are followed by you and team members. Identifying any hazards and agreeing actions to minimise risks to the team. Develop close cooperation between fellow Team Leaders to support material flow. Manage the production plan to ensure that the lines achieve their requirements in accordance with the agreed plan and to the required quality and cost standards. Manage senior operatives and staffing on lines to efficiently meet demand, including overtime. Identify training needs and cross train a balanced team and maintain records. Provide direct line support and be prepared to work on the lines to cover increased workload or absences. Actively practice, encourage and coach team members in continuous improvement techniques within your area, ensuring swift root cause analysis, containment, and sustained corrective actions. Daily briefings, PPE, maintenance checks and toolbox talks. Communications with other areas of the business including Sales and Customer Services and Business Systems. Skills and Qualifications required of a Team Leader: A proven track record in team leadership and management Ability to demonstrate experience of production plan responsibility Strong problem solving and process skills Organised and can prioritise tasks against tight time constraints. Must be proficient in English and maths. Computer literate
