Manage a team of production operatives Responsibility for achieving departmental KPI targets Carry out daily quality checks and audits ensuring that the product is produced in line with quality standards and procedures Attend daily production meetings Work with peers to offer alternative solutions to any quality, productivity and safety matters Ensure compliance with the company health and safety policies and procedures – including: Risk assessments, safety audits, PPE adherence, incident and accident reporting whilst promoting a positive safety culture Collating and inputting data, analysing reports Coach and support team members to ensure appropriate training is received in accordance with training objectives Root cause analysis and resolving any production issues based on KPI / OEE performance Work closely with planning on current and future requirements Ensure there is an efficient process flow by communicating with other internal stakeholders Willingness to undertake further training / qualifications i.e. ILM Level 5, Health and safety, Auditing, Lean, Continuous Improvement. Involvement in attending disciplinary meetings and other related HR meetings, such as appraisals The Candidate:
Experience of supervising a team and a minimum Level 3 Leadership qualification or equivalent Self-aware, resilient individual, with the ability to guide and lead a team Proven proactive and positive hands-on approach, leading and delivering continuous improvements through LEAN Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc is essential Demonstrate an ability to drive change.
