Monday - Wednesday 20:50 - 06:00, Thursday 20:50 - 06:50 The successful candidate as production team leader will be joining an expanding team for a plastic injection company supplying into the automotive industry. The role of production team leader is critical for the manufacturing department to run smoothly and to make sure the process operators are trained and understand standard operating procedures. Required skills for the production team leader: Strong communication, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills. Ownership for area allocated. Microsoft Suite (Level 1 minimum). Basic Lean Manufacturing Knowledge. Accident investigations and reporting. NVQ/ILM Team leader qualification. Key areas of responsibility for the production team leader: Managing the day-to-day activities of the team. Motivating the team to achieve organisational goals. Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets. Delegating tasks to team members. Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential. Ensure process adherence is always maintained. Contribute to Cell Clean downs once production is completed. Validation of assembly fixture condition. Uphold communication with operators. Housekeeping Audits daily. Daily Shift reports. Continuously Check NCP for validation. Label Control and verification. NCP input shift data. Progress Chase Daily Customer requirements against EDI.
