Production Team Leaders

Kingspan Century is looking for Team Leaders to join our Production team in Ballyclare. What you’ll do: As a Production Team Leader, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include: Managing line and team performance to hit production deadlines. Promote team members development in continuous improvement (CI) activities, and recommend further training where necessary. Liaise with the Production Manager regularly on issues involving production schedule and schedule changes, drawings, quality and staffing issues. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Ensure all team members are wearing the correct PPE. Monitor waste and scrap levels, and develop methods to reduce it. Reject/ Scrap nonconforming product Liaise with yard personnel when materials need to be brought to or taken from your production area Coordinate all time sheets and KPIs, for the Production Manager. Monitor production during the day to ensure it is staying on schedule. Undertake general stock take to ensure stock levels and accurate. You will have: Supervisory experience Proven leadership qualities and excellent people management skills. Experience in dealing with CNC & automated production machinery Training in IT (Microsoft Office) is desirable Lean Manufacturing (Yellow/Green belt) is preferred.
