Production Test Engineer , (Crowborough, East Sussex) £29k-£31k
Hexwired Recruitment have partnered with a rapidly growing company that design, manufacture and market voice alarm and emergency voice communications for various sectors like retail, transport and public service facilities.
The company are looking for a Production Test Engineer who will work in the production test department, testing and repairing the company's products and sub-assemblies.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct testing and repairs on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBs). Test and troubleshoot completed equipment. Design and create test fixtures as needed (collaborating with the design team). Diagnose and repair circuit issues down to the component level. Program memory and controller chips. Write or update test documentation and specifications. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Production Test Team Leader or Production Manager.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualification in electrical/electronic engineering (at least a BTEC National Diploma or equivalent). Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronic testing within a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications. Confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-driven, capable of working independently. Proactive with a focus on identifying and implementing best practices.
The salary for this Production Test Engineer position in East Sussex is approximately £29k-£31k per year, depending on your experience.
