The role is responsible for providing data consultancy services which support our range of CCH software products. These services will involve data transformation, SQL scripting to our customers bespoke requirements.

The role requires enthusiasm and self-motivation with excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyse and translate customer requirements into tangible output.

As a customer facing consultant - taking a consultative approach to all interactions, the key objectives of the role are:

Delivery of data migration and manipulation services.

Data extraction from customer databases via scripts and software tools.

System data analysis and provision of formal quotes for bespoke services.

The role will involve working with multiple teams and departments to provide exceptional service to our customers. Services are delivered remotely to a tight timeframe and requires excellent customer management skills to ensure the best customer experience. The position will require occasional weekend and evening work to accommodate out of business hours services to our customers which will minimise disruption and downtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver professional efficient services, considerate of the impact of downtime on customer’s business.

Provide high quality data solutions services supporting a range of CCH software products using Transact SQL.

Take ownership of issues raised by the customer, escalate to the appropriate person or team and regularly update the customer regarding actions taken.

Ensure you are up to date with CCH Software as well as the industry standard framework which support our software now and, in the future.

Work closely with project management and others in professional services to aid successful service delivery.

Work collaboratively with colleagues in professional services and the wider stakeholders, sales, customer services, product development to ensure customers’ expectations are fully met.

Assist with testing of new versions/builds of data solutions.

Assist with the production of supporting collateral.

Update customer project documentation.

Refine processes and documentation where necessary in line with new technologies and better ways of working.

Continually assess ways of working to develop or revise artefacts and processes that improve efficiencies and effectiveness.

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

Willingness and aptitude for learning new systems and gaining further knowledge.

Experienced in ETL, data manipulation, migration, and cleansing.

Experience in SQL server administration including database backup and restores.

Experienced in Transact SQL creating, reading, and enhancing stored procedures and scripts.

Experienced in troubleshooting SQL queries and error messages.

Experienced in Microsoft core products – Excel, Word.

Experienced in Power Query (desirable).

Knowledge of Visual Studio and Github (beneficial).

Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools (desirable).

Knowledge of one or more CCH software applications (desirable).
