Are you looking for a part time role working 25 hours a week focused on helping others develop? We are looking for someone who is passionate about professional development and eager to support our store colleagues in obtaining Level 3 BTEC for Optical Colleagues or Level 4 BTEC in Optical Dispensing. In this 12 month fixed term role, you will be at the heart of our Professional Development team, assisting with all aspects of administration to support the management and structure of our accredited courses. You will be responsible for building course content, assessments, and webpages on our learning management system, as well as extracting data from various online systems to create reports for stakeholders. Your role will also involve supporting online training sessions using software such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and fielding queries from students and stores. To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organized, able to prioritize and work efficiently under pressure, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should have strong knowledge of Excel data management and other Microsoft Office programs, as well as the ability to communicate confidently with customers at all levels of the business. A proactive, 'can do' attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team are also essential.
