Central London or Oxfordshire (Hybrid working available) Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Controls / PMO Consultant to join a dynamic team within a leading consultancy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing project control processes, tools, and procedures for high-profile projects across various sectors. Key Responsibilities: Drive transparency and visibility of progress and performance throughout the project lifecycle. Compile and feed into comprehensive programme and project reports. Provide constructive challenge and undertake analysis to support decision-making. Oversee programme controls, reporting systems, and the development of project management tools (including Power BI). Manage control processes such as change control, reporting, and risk management. Ensure effective governance and assurance across programmes. Key Requirements: Proven background in project/programme controls or PMO. Strong understanding of schedule cost risk and the ability to contribute to comprehensive reporting. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with project management systems and tools. Experience in public sector or complex project environments is advantageous.
