The Pandemic Sciences Institute (PSI) has an exciting opportunity to recruit a highly motivated Programme Coordinator - Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) to support the operationalisation, execution, and tracking of MEL frameworks and workplans for two major programmes and broadly across PSI. This position is based at the Old Road Campus in Headington, Oxford with occasional overseas travel, mostly to Africa. This is a new role positioned within the MEL team. It reports directly to the PSI – Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist, who in turn reports to the PSI Strategy, Research, and Culture Lead. Under the supervision and guidance of your line manager, you will implement MEL frameworks, data management, quality assurance, and related activities, coordinate internal and external implementing partners and stakeholder engagement, conduct descriptive analyses, develop surveys, forms, reports, and tools to support a wide range of stakeholders, and deliver essential administrative and logistical support for day-to-day operations of MEL initiatives. You will also contribute to the development and continuous improvement of MEL tools for researchers across PSI. As the Programme Coordinator, it is essential that you are educated to degree level or equivalent in social sciences, public health, international development, data science, or other relevant disciplines, and have a keen interest in evaluation, learning, and continuous improvement of programmes. You will have experience in administration or project management, ideally within a large organisation. You should demonstrate a systematic and thorough approach to work with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks within an adaptive environment. You will have experience in supporting stakeholders, using tact, sensitivity, and discretion to build effective relationships at all levels and anticipate the needs of diverse, international stakeholders. You will also have excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel.
