Programme Director

to lead a prestigious portfolio of education, science, and commercial projects in Oxfordshire. This role is ideally suited to a senior professional with a proven track record in programme management and a passion for delivering impactful projects. The Role The Programme Director will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a diverse project portfolio, ensuring excellence in execution, stakeholder satisfaction, and commercial success. Key responsibilities include: Leading and overseeing the delivery of multiple, high-profile projects across education, science, and commercial sectors. Managing programme budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve strategic objectives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and wider professional teams. Driving innovation and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance. Providing leadership and mentoring to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. About you: The ideal candidate will possess: Extensive experience in programme management, ideally within the education, science, or commercial sectors. A strong background in managing complex, multi-disciplinary construction/project portfolios. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven expertise in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Professional qualifications such as RICS, CIOB, or APM are desirable but not essential.
