Job Description
Based within the Chief Executive’s Department’s Glasgow City Region Programme Management Office, the Programme Manager (GCR) will support the ongoing development and delivery of the Glasgow City Region (GCR) Economic Strategy (RES).
The initial focus of the Programme Manager will be to support the development and delivery of the UK Government funded GCR Investment Zone (GCRIZ) Programme. As one of two Investment Zones in Scotland and one of twelve across the UK, the GCR IZ will see £160m of public sector investment into an established growth sector in the city region economy. This £160m investment will leverage hundreds of millions of pounds of private sector investment over the 10 year duration of the programme.
