Programme Manager

·
Volunteer
Location: London
·
Job offered by: White Stuff
·
White Stuff was established in 1985 through a simple idea. This idea grew and now we have shops and concessions in the UK and internationally, selling women's and men's clothing as well as beautiful accessories and homeware. Our original prints (all designed in-house), intricate details and considered design touches reflect our personality and make us subtly distinctive.

Our people are at the heart of our brand, constantly moving and driving us forward. We're sociable, talented and like-minded and we're not hierarchical or political in how we do business. We encourage entrepreneurial ideas and accountability at all levels.

Primary purpose of the role:

White Stuff are on a journey of digital transformation, successfully landing a number of key projects but with an exciting roadmap ahead as we continue to grow and evolve. The Programme Manager role plays a key part in transforming the technology and operations for our customers and colleagues, leading on major projects and delivering successful change.

Who you are:

A strong communicator, highly organised, and hands-on programme manager who is as comfortable with multi-year programmes of work, as quick-fire pieces of change. You will have experience with a multichannel retailer, and the proven ability to bring together cross-functional teams to deliver transformative projects and programmes. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a range of audiences and convey information concisely. Enjoy solving problems, providing clarity and simplicity where there may be ambiguity and complexity. Confident, with a positive mindset and flexibility to adapt to varying situations. Have strong financial governance skills to both manage budgets and ensure benefits are proven in practice. Able to play a key leadership role within a small, high-performing IT function, working with a number of carefully selected, best-of-breed suppliers. What you'll be doing:

This role is accountable for leading a portfolio of technology and business change projects, with the relevant governance, financial oversight, risk management, and stakeholder relationships necessary for success.

Moreover, the role is a key leadership role in the Technology function, contributing to all aspects of the team and wider organisation.

What you'll need:

Strong experience of retail with good knowledge of the key business processes. Expert knowledge of the various project methodologies and the guile to adapt the right approach to the project at hand. A track record of successful project delivery from end-to-end, ideally retailing technologies, e-commerce, and core systems along with the associated business change. Experience of working with 3rd party software and implementation suppliers, including the contractual process and managing relationships. Proven examples of building enduring stakeholder relationships. Infectious enthusiasm mixed with a determination to succeed, alongside a good sense of humour (preferred but not required). What we will offer you:

As a Programme Manager at White Stuff you will be entitled to an array of great benefits, some of which include: Hybrid working. Annual bonus opportunity. Up to 33 days holiday per annum. 2 extra (paid!) days off per year to volunteer in the local community. 50% discount. Subsidised BUPA Dental Insurance. Healthcare cash plan and Life Assurance. Interest free season ticket loan. Pension Contribution. We are committed to creating an environment where we can all be proud to work and be ourselves. Part of this commitment is being an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, and age.
