we are excited to be running our successful and long running internship programme again in 2025. This is a yearlong, on-site internship aimed at those part way through their studies. Programming Interns at d3t can expect to work on high profile AAA games with our global clients. You will have the opportunity to discover where your programming passion lies, be that in gameplay, core tech, AI, tools or anything else. Our studios are at the cutting edge of technology and creativity, delivering co-development video game services to our global triple-A clients. Our successful studio is growing and you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects offering plenty of variety and involvement. THE ROLE

Our Programming Internship is a 12-month placement (minimum) at d3t, where you can expect to be fully integrated into our engineering department at one of our two sites in the UK (Daresbury, Cheshire or Gateshead, Tyne & Wear). As an intern, you can expect to be fully supported by a dedicated mentor that will guide you through all the things you will be learning and developing throughout the year. You will also learn from your project team and our open and supportive culture, giving you access to the knowledge of over 120 experienced engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing and applying your C++ and engineering skills. Providing daily updates on your progress along with your team. Working on systems and functionality for games in Unreal or proprietary engines. Collaborating with multiple disciplines around the world. Learning and partaking in common game development processes and practices. ESSENTIAL SKILLS
