The Role
This redeveloped role is perfectly balanced between hands-on accounting and true business partnering providing fantastic diversification & exposure. The key components of the role will include:
Finance Business Partnering
Involvement in high profile & value projects
Business partnering with senior & non-financial stakeholders
Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow analysis
Financial analysis – KPI’s, costs, variance analysis, etc.
Accounting
Assisting with monthly management accounts
Ensuring robust month and year-end close & annual audit preparation
Ownership of capital expenditure projects
Balance sheet integrity & reconciliations
Maintenance of fixed asset register
Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

It’s imperative the successful individual has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills so they can interact, engage and influence with both senior & non-financial stakeholders.
A qualified Accountant that can demonstrate strong business partnering capabilities through excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The employer is willing to consider individuals from one of the following backgrounds:
An individual that trained & qualified within an Accountancy Firm/Practice and seeking their first in-house move into industry
An individual that came up through the ranks of in-house industry finance.
