This is a newly created role for a Project Accountant to join our dynamic team and help drive their continued success.

Are you passionate about numbers and ready to bring your financial expertise to an exciting, fast-paced fabrication environment? As the Project Accountant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our projects stay on track financially, helping to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You'll be the financial backbone behind their projects, working hand-in-hand with the talented engineers and project managers to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and improve project accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy Manage the financial oversight and reporting of assigned construction projects, including monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cost variances Prepare and analyze monthly project performance reports including profit and loss, cash flow, and work in progress Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial goals are aligned with operational objectives Conduct regular reviews of project budgets Collate monthly KPI data Assist the Finance Manager with the production of the management accounts

Minimum Requirements:

You must have previous exposure to working in a project accounting role and have proven expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and budget management for large-scale projects. Excellent Excel skills are key in this role.
