Your Mission as Project Buyer As a key player in ZEISS’s global Supply Chain Management (SCM) Organisation, you will: Take ownership

of the supply chain for a cutting-edge electron microscope product line.

Work closely with expert teams in the UK and Germany, and with global suppliers.

Drive supply chain strategies for new product launches and engineering changes.

Negotiate contracts that deliver value while fostering strong partnerships.

Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Operations to bring revolutionary products to life.

supply chain representative

for new product introductions and redesign projects.

Develop and execute innovative supply chain strategies aligned with ZEISS’s vision.

Manage procurement processes with precision, from RFQs to purchase orders.

Oversee engineering change management to ensure flawless execution.

Address challenges head-on and implement creative solutions.

Serve as the vital link between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring seamless communication.

What Makes You a Perfect Fit? You are a passionate, forward-thinking professional with: Solid experience in

Supply Chain Management, New Product Introduction, Procurement or Project Management.

Advanced

SAP skills

and expertise in Microsoft Office tools.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication and negotiation prowess.

A proactive mindset, with the flexibility to travel (10-20%) to Germany or supplier sites.
