Job Description As a Project Collaboration Manager at Virtual Earth Consultancy (VEC), you will play a pivotal role in driving seamless coordination, effectively promoting communication across multidisciplinary teams, and expanding our global footprint. Your expertise will

ensure the successful execution of environmental projects, empowering our clients to achieve their sustainability goals. Your expertise will be critical in securing funding through the effective coordination of proposal consortiums, particularly those involving

Chinese and European partners. From developing collaboration strategies to managing project timelines, facilitating stakeholder communication, and optimising resource allocation, you will be at the heart of VEC's mission to deliver innovative and impactful

solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that address complex environmental challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future. You will also play a vital role in identifying and cultivating relationships with potential

collaborators in China and around the world. This role demands a highly networked individual with a proven ability to build and leverage connections, particularly within the Chinese environmental sector. You will be at the forefront of VEC's mission to deliver innovative and impactful solutions, working

on projects that address critical environmental challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future for all. Key Responsibilities Global Network Development & Client Acquisition:

Leverage your existing network of research/application partners and potential clients, particularly in China, to support VEC's market expansion. Proactively identify and cultivate new relationships

to drive business growth and project opportunities globally. Collaboration Strategy : Develop and implement a global collaboration strategy that aligns with project goals, organisational culture, and timelines, with a particular focus on fostering partnerships in China. Project Planning and Scheduling : Analyse project components, organise them into a logical sequence, and establish the minimum time required for completion. Create and maintain detailed project timetables to ensure timely progress and manage

relevant administrative aspects. Communication Facilitation : Foster open and transparent communication channels among project team members, stakeholders, and departments, utilising appropriate tools and techniques (e.g., project management software, virtual meetings, collaborative

workspaces). Coordination and Synchronisation : Coordinate proposal preparation, project activities, schedules, and resources across teams to ensure alignment, prevent conflicts, and optimise resource utilisation. Advisory Support : Advise on project procedures and assist the project team in decision-making processes to maintain clarity and focus on objectives. Stakeholder Liaison : Act as the primary liaison, ensuring effective communication between the project team, other departments, the project manager, clients, and senior management. Knowledge Management : Facilitate the capture, organisation, and dissemination of project knowledge and lessons learned to enhance team performance and inform future projects. Collaboration Tool Expertise : Select, implement, and manage collaboration tools and platforms to support effective communication, knowledge sharing, and project tracking. Conflict Resolution : Proactively identify and address potential conflicts or roadblocks to collaboration, employing effective conflict resolution strategies to maintain project momentum. Progress Monitoring : Monitor the progress of the project and provide regular updates to project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and expectations. Team Building : Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages trust, mutual respect, and shared accountability. Continuous Improvement : Regularly assess and refine collaboration processes, tools, and practices to optimise project outcomes and enhance team effectiveness. Skills Exceptional networking and interpersonal abilities ,

with a demonstrated capacity to build trust, rapport, and strong relationships with diverse stakeholders globally ,

especially in China . Proficiency in using collaboration tools and platforms, such as project management software, virtual meeting tools, and shared workspaces. Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience in conflict resolution and fostering team cohesion. Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall. A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
