Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with an international player in the nuclear energy market recognised for its innovative solutions and technology for designing, building, maintaining, and advancing the global nuclear sector to recruit a Project Controls Manager for its Nuclear fleet service business unit's growth into the UK markets, based out of their Sizewell B site.

The Project Controls Manager will manage a team and coordinate project controls workload. It comes with a base salary starting up to £70,000, minimum of 9% pension, 25 days annual leave and a wealth of other benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the Head of PMO you will be responsible for: Line management responsibilities including conducting day-to-day line management duties for all members of the team and ensuring the development of all members of the team through coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training as well as coordinating formal training requirements. Support and ensure the production of quality, coherent and aligned Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control, RAID and Document Control outputs by all members of the team. Ensuring projects are baselined, fully logic linked, cost and resourced loaded plans in line with the WBS and cost estimate/model, with suitable contingencies and mitigations in place aligned with RAID registers. RAID and Documentation Registers that are aligned with the remaining scope of work and all relevant RAID events and Documents are captured and forecast correctly in the control schedule and cost model. Suitably detailed and justified cost estimates for all work packages, used as the basis of budgets in the cost model, with contingencies and mitigations in place aligned with RAID registers.

Professional Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Experience working across project controls sub-disciplines. Confident in taking an inquisitive, analytical and challenging role within projects. Acting as a senior member of a project controls team.

Salary and Benefits of the Project Controls Manager Role A base salary up to £70,000 per annum. 9% minimum pension. A variety of other benefits disclosed upon application.
