What You Will Do: Lead the concept, specification, tender, and development of new projects/components for transmissions and axles, ensuring the highest standards of innovation and quality. Utilize CAD systems to design and visualize projects, crafting the aesthetics, materials, and functionality with precision. Conduct thorough failure analysis and manage concessions of existing products, driving continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with the design and operations team, ensuring drawings and projects are executed flawlessly. Spearhead the identification and implementation of new systems and processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost savings. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. What You Will Bring: A proven track record in engineering, with experience in leading projects from conception to completion. Knowledge & experience in the design of rotating systems. Proficiency in CAD Software with a keen eye for design and detail. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct failure analysis and problem-solving. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments. A commitment to continuous improvement, with a flair for identifying and implementing efficiency-enhancing processes.
