My client is seeking a

Project Designer

to join the project division covering Housing & Public buildings. The company is a market-leading property maintenance and installation company that specializes in the installation and servicing of gas central heating and hot water services to private, commercial landlords, and industrial properties.

The

Project Designer

will be responsible for the design or management of design for all new and existing projects. Additionally, the role will support the Head of Projects for tendering of new projects. The main projects will be the replacement of district heating and hot water distribution systems within Housing & Public buildings.

You will be preparing project tenders, collaborating with the tender team on submission documentation, and conducting or managing design calculations for approved projects. Tasks include submitting and negotiating design approvals, supporting project managers with site information and drawing compliance, resolving technical issues, and assisting with additional duties as assigned by the Head of Projects.

Project Designer Job Overview As the

Project Designer , you will be working on and managing the design of the replacement of district heating and hot water distribution systems within the Housing & Public buildings. The role is office-based in the Leatherhead area.

Project Designer Job Requirements It is essential to have: Understanding of contracts and specifications sufficient for appropriate design and tender purposes. Firm understanding of design principles for heating and hot water systems. Driving license. It will be desirable to hold a degree or equivalent in project management, construction, property, or mechanical engineering.

Project Designer Salary & Benefits £60K per annum depending on experience 25 days plus Bank holidays (will rise with service) 8:30-5:30 (Monday to Friday) Access to Employee Assistance Programme (partnered with Health Assured) Profit share after 12 months of service Volunteer program allowing paid time out to assist in local schemes Company Sick Pay.
