JOB TITLE: PROJECT DIRECTOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the project team and manage the supply chain to deliver Capital Projects to time, cost and quality targets and standards. Ensure safety targets and standards are maintained. Communicate safety with passion and credibility to inspire, motivate, and lead the project team to achieve the vision. Lead a continuous improvement culture by actively seeking input from all members of the project team and encouraging them to implement safety improvements. Ensure delivery targets and standards are achieved by actively engaging with the customer to understand and deliver their key objectives. Manage commercial and business risk to achieve targets. Understand the relevant Contract terms and conditions for each contract. Proactively manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations, and maintain long-term relationships. Monitor and approve cost targets and financial forecasts to maximize profitability. Ensure the delivery aligns with Petrofac standards, processes and procedures with a focus on continual delivery improvement. Maintain effective records for contract delivery and regularly report on contract progress, risks, and issues to senior management. Delivery of the Field Development Plan Capital Projects. Manage the interfaces and subcontracts to ensure effective and connected delivery. Lead, develop and coach individuals to build high performing teams and create a culture of talent management. Play a key role in business development activity across the entire Asset Solutions Portfolio. Collaborate with colleagues across all service lines and functions to ensure maximum pull through from customers is achieved and developed. Work closely with the Digital Technology and Innovations team to ensure development of our Digital working methods aligns fully with our portfolio of works, business development activities and market opportunities. Ensure that an effective monitoring and reporting system is in place. Ensure that all operations parameters and requirements are being made including any effective remedial action where non-compliance is identified. The post holder is expected to undertake any tasks which may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position. The postholder is expected to adhere to the ‘The 9 Lifesaving Rules and the Petrofac Values. The postholder is expected to role model the Petrofac behaviours. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Project management degree preferable, with significant experience in Capital Project Management. Relevant Engineering qualification. Experience in subsea construction and subsea drilling interfaces. Proven track record of delivery in a variety of roles. Experience in West Africa preferred. The ability to communicate effectively is required in order to manage customer relationships, in addition to strong planning and organization skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency. Strong leadership skills, including experience in forming teams, influencing and communicating with others to deliver targets. Financial awareness is required to deliver targets, with a desire to continuously improve safety and sustainability performance. Extensive experience of engineering leadership in an Oil & Gas business. Significant network of customer relationships. Experience in a range of management roles and particularly managing large CAPEX budgets. #LI-JN1
