Project Director
to join our team. Being part of the ASTI team, you will be responsible for our ASTI Offshore (HVDC) Framework. You will play a key part in the pre-construction and construction phases of large civil engineering projects, which will provide critical infrastructure to enable future, renewable developments in Scotland. You will be responsible for the development and execution of emerging strategy and interfacing with our ASTI Onshore (Substation) Framework team. Your mission As Project Director, you will be responsible for the following: Managing billings and cost procedures during preconstruction. Ensuring Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) matters are managed on the Project. Developing bid scopes for trade packages and vetting subcontractors to ensure compliance. Providing Project Management skills to ensure that all contractual requirements are met. Assisting site Project Managers on constructability issues during the planning phase and managing resource allocation to any early construction activities that may take place. Supporting the Commercial Manager and Area Commercial Manager in administering subcontracts. Who are we looking for? - Degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent. - Successful experience and performance at Project Manager level (or equivalent as deemed appropriate by Senior Management). - Must be able to demonstrate leadership and management capabilities to manage a single project of complexity and value. - Detailed working knowledge of the construction environment and forms of contract used upon the operational projects for which the individual is responsible. - Specialist Technical or Managerial Knowledge, aligned to the specific nature of the project for which the individual is responsible.
