They have a turnover of circa £100m and have multiple offices across the South East. Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee and manage multiple fit-out projects within the laboratory and life science sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction, and an understanding of the specific requirements and regulations associated with laboratory environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of fit-out projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices specific to laboratory and life sciences. Oversee procurement processes, including selecting subcontractors and suppliers, and managing contracts. Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing guidance and mentorship to project managers and staff. Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the company's standards and client expectations. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on laboratory and life sciences projects. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex fit-out projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of laboratory design, construction methods, and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management software and tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. What We Offer:
