Project Director - Retirement Village Project

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Director to lead a high-profile scheme consisting of £15 million and £60 million - a retirement village development. The development will feature a purpose-built, luxury retirement village with modern facilities, creating a vibrant community for later living. This project is designed with sustainability and quality in mind, featuring a traditional brick façade, concrete frame structure, and advanced construction techniques.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the management and delivery of the entire project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Oversee all aspects of the development, from planning and design to construction and handover. Manage project teams including contractors, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth collaboration and successful project execution. Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. Implement sustainable building practices and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Drive the completion of a luxury retirement village, including hotel-style facilities, communal spaces, and apartment units. Oversee risk management, including identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements: Extensive experience in managing large residential or commercial construction projects, ideally with exposure to retirement or senior living schemes. Proven track record in project delivery, including leadership of multi-disciplinary teams. Strong understanding of construction processes, including sustainability practices and prefabrication methods. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience with managing budgets, schedules, and contracts to ensure project success. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a flagship retirement living project that will make a positive impact on the community. If you are an experienced Project Director with a passion for delivering high-quality residential developments, we would love to hear from you.

Please send your CV outlining your relevant experience and qualifications.
