Our client is a world leader in large scale, utility grade FACTS. Their portfolio includes landmark EPC and turnkey power grid projects across the globe. Due to continued growth, they are looking to secure the services of several Project Engineers for the successful delivery of UK and international projects. You will actively support the wider engineering and project teams both within the company offices as well as supporting on-site activities. Primary Responsibilities

Pre-Contract: Help review tender technical requirements Review and help prepare technical proposals Preparation of technical tender deviations Participate in proposal presentations Post Contract: Supporting the engineering design and implementation interfaces between the RXHK Statcom, balance of plant and sub-contractor scopes Reviewing works at design and implementation stage to ensure that client employer requirements are being achieved or exceeded Responsibility for completion of individual tasks within a specified timescale Completion of necessary documentation of activities during design and implementation, commissioning phases Attendance at relevant factory and site acceptance tests for quality inspections and ensuring contractual requirements are achieved or exceeded Ensuring works are carried out in a safe, efficient, and coordinated manner Desired Background

Experience in carrying out complex projects on EHV and HV electrical substations from a contractor perspective Experience of equipment involving power electronics such as FACTS, WTGs, PV, BESS Minimum 2 years relevant experience Essential

Good understanding of construction projects Experience of relevant IEC and other Standards Good communicator; fluency in English is essential and other languages desirable Self-starter, good interpersonal skills, well-organised, and able to work effectively on projects with minimal supervision in a team environment Ability and willingness to travel internationally Right to work in the UK
