Responsibilities

Follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company. Oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects. Assess production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project. Compile data derived from reports, revise time schedules according to necessity, and oversee the quality of work at project site. Support project review meetings. Liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the timely closure of all actions. Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects. Produce product design and development plans. Ensure all safety & legal requirements are being followed, interpret clients' necessities, pinpoint and address engineering problems, and implement solutions.

Essential Skills Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within Body Structures or within a Project Management role, in a fast-paced, forward-thinking business. Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers. Ability to manage one's own time, multitask, and prioritize workload accordingly. Proven record of people & project management. Ability to produce reports and conduct meetings. Plans work and cascades to team. Integrates departmental planning with other business units. Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism. Organised, methodical but flexible approach to workload.

Desirable Skills Experience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and procedures. Can lead moderate teams. Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. Composite knowledge and experience.
