Project Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Bolton Salary: £43,000 - £50,000 depending on experience + Benefits

Are you a Project Engineer with an electrical bias looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a highly motivated professional to manage and deliver engineering projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Engineer:

Lead and manage technical projects, ensuring on-time, in-full, and on-budget delivery. Oversee PLC-based automation and electrical systems integration. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and legal requirements. Manage contractors and key project stakeholders. Develop and maintain project documentation, including GANTT charts, budgets, and risk assessments.

Requirements for the Project Engineer: 18th Edition Certification and strong electrical engineering expertise. Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification. HNC/HND or Engineering Degree (or equivalent experience). Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial environments. Knowledge of PLC automation, control systems, and project management methodologies (Prince 2, APMP desirable). Strong risk management and problem-solving skills.
