We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations team in Royston. The ideal candidate will oversee the Engineered to Order (ETO) specialist X-ray inspection equipment, ensuring project precision and product excellence from inception to completion. These internal projects involve developing equipment for the food and pharmaceutical industries and can range from significant customization of an existing X-ray platform for new applications to managing multiple system orders across various customer sites. Responsibilities

Work with our customers to develop and validate technical specifications and fully integrated ETO project planning. Support the Safeline X-ray Sales teams by developing detailed quotations for identified solutions. Coordinate solution development from initial concept proposal through to fully validated product. Own and manage the project timing plan, managing the consequences of change from the agreed baseline and committed lead time. Ensure customers are provided with all necessary documentation (e.g. user manual and technical manuals, spare parts lists etc.). Act as single point of contact for the customer throughout the duration of the project and manage the hand-over at point of delivery to local Marketing Organization (MO). What You Need

Ability to interact with all parts of the business internally. Competent in the use of SAP, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. An enthusiastic and result-oriented approach with a ‘can do’ attitude. Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets under pressure. Previous experience working in the Manufacturing industry is desired. Demonstrated ability to define and execute product validation strategies (e.g. EMC, environmental, durability, software validation, customer factory acceptance testing etc). Knowledge and experience of Robust Design and Systems Engineering principles. Experience in the design and integration of complex electro-mechanical products. Our Offer to You
