Project Engineer, Mechanical Designer, Mechanical Draftsperson - capital equipment, packaging, packaging machinery Reporting to the Operations and Lead Designer, as our Project Engineer, you'll be involved with multiple cradle to grave projects where you'll take various responsibilities including CAD design, managing BOM, detailing specification reports, product modification and testing, working with everyone from concept designer, manufacturing team and installation teams. You'll have every opportunity to grow in this role and we'll encourage you to take on more responsibility over time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Interpret and understand detailed drawings to produce design documentation. Produce CAD works to support the design and build phase (we use SolidWorks). Create BOM for each project. Support the build and installation teams throughout the projects. PERSON SPECIFICATION: We're open to your background and experience but it is likely that you'll have exposure to the following, whether that be from education or previous work experience: Experience of CAD packages (we use SolidWorks). Creation of BOM. Material selection. Ability to understand design schematics and documentation. Experience of machine component and sheet metal / folding would be an advantage.
