Piran Technology Group are an advanced carbon fibre manufacturing company supplying components and structures to the aerospace, space, defence and motorsport sectors. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing engineering and manufacturing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are delivered on time. This role demands a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Utilise CAD software to create detailed schematics and designs for engineering projects. Collaborate with other engineers to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis on project-related problems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress, changes, and outcomes. Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in SolidWorks being highly desirable. Carbon fibre/composites experience is desirable. Strong analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis methodologies. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration across teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
