This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary engineering company specializing in delivering bulk material handling projects across a range of industries. Customer satisfaction and quality are at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking a high-caliber individual to join our team of experienced professionals and engineers in a dynamic environment. The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers and be responsible for the engineering and technical aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and quality from conception to completion. This role involves scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and engineering best practices. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment, working on a diverse range of projects. Main Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for successful project execution. Define project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and involving relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and policies, including QA/QC and performance specifications. Develop and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and recommend actions to mitigate delays. Conduct site surveys and gather information to design and detail required equipment. Produce P&ID, PFD, layout drawings, and detailed drawings. Create bills of materials for manufacturing and procurement. Oversee budgetary, scheduling, and project databases, reporting progress to management. Prepare project status reports, analyze data, and recommend actions. Identify and address risks to ensure the safe manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment. Conduct technical studies and prepare cost estimates. Maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with quality and health & safety systems. Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and the supply chain to ensure deliverables are achieved. Evaluate proposals from suppliers/subcontractors for technical compliance and contractual obligations. Ensure timely procurement of deliverables from the supply chain. Manage smaller contracts within budget and on schedule. Key Accountabilities

Manage engineering and technical aspects of projects. Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, and variances. Proactively address potential delays and minimize risks to project schedules. Maintain frequent and effective communication with all stakeholders. Oversee and monitor all project phases to ensure timely delivery. Support management with other tasks as needed. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience. Background in bulk-materials handling or heavy fabrications. Strong ability to interpret and process fabrication/engineering drawings (essential). Proficiency in IT, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent communication and time management skills. Proven ability to organize and prioritize workload while maintaining confidentiality. Adaptability to adjust priorities based on changing deadlines. A positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality work.
