We are currently looking for an electrical project engineer to join a well-established controls and automation company based in the Dartford area. This company specialises in bespoke electrical solutions within the switchgear industry.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects from sales handover to project completion, ensuring specifications, timelines, and budget constraints are met. Develop control panel / switchgear arrangements & products by studying customer requirements. Ensuring correct selection of components from suppliers that meet with suitability, availability and budget targets. Overseeing of product design and build stage through to installation and commissioning. Integrate with production manager for factory production scheduling. Liaise with suppliers ensuring adherence to project schedules. Liaise with clients, attending client site meetings, leading client FAT and SAT. Producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments for onsite installations. Requirements:
Professional qualification(s) in Electrical Engineering. Able to read, interpret and follow engineering drawings. Working knowledge of LV installations, HV an advantage. Experience in the specification, function and manufacture of LV switchgear, HV an advantage. Good knowledge and understanding of relevant standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and experience of ePlan or equivalent CAD packages. Benefits:
