Project Engineer - Electrical Modules

Owner to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our

Lead Engineer , you will

be the technical responsible for different Electrical Module development. You will play an important role, working closely with stakeholders finalising the design, mechanical & electrical interfaces requirements. Whilst taking overall technical delivery through of this Electrical component, you will act as component owner for agreed ECUs.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Development and maintenance of requirements specifications, and timing plans throughout the project lifecycle. Lead component integration review, verification & validation activities including FMEAs, test planning and functionality tests throughout the development lifecycle. Maintain suppliers and support with other departments including Procurement, Logistics and Quality throughout the project lifecycle. Support various prototype and development builds including labcar / test rig build where required. Work closely with other departments such as Product, Homologation, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Programs, Logistics, Service and workshops. Represent the Electrical Department in status meetings and engineering reviews. Also represent Forseven in external working groups and with suppliers. Who you are

Experience in automotive electrical components' design, development and manufacture. Understanding of electrical systems, software features/functions, electrical architectures and systems design/integration. Working knowledge of automotive networks, standards and development processes. Diligent and detail focused. Strong communicator and empathetic. Agile and energized working in a start-up environment.
