As a Project Engineer specialising in Body Exterior, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development and execution of exterior components for our automotive projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of vehicle exteriors that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation. Additionally, you will actively contribute to outreach initiatives aimed at promoting STEM education within the community. Key Responsibilities

Lead body exterior development for specific systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Responsible for the management of BoM structure, cost, mass, design, release timing, technical specifications, DFMEA & DVP inputs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, select, and apply appropriate techniques and criteria for exterior component design and integration. Utilise your expertise to make informed decisions and adaptations to standard practices, particularly in managing small work packages within the project scope. Manage and oversee defined Exterior Systems, including 3D CAD geometry development, workflow development, and project documentation preparation. Provide project engineering oversight for full vehicle exterior systems, including bumpers, grilles, lighting, mirrors, panels, closures, and aerodynamic elements. Implement project management best practices, including design for manufacture and assembly principles, to ensure compliance with project objectives and legal standards. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and partners, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Previous experience in project engineering or related roles within the automotive industry. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field. Benefits
