We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with an EC&I background to join our client's team on a potentially long-term contract. You will collaborate with the project team on key functions such as project documentation, job cost tracking, scheduling, and construction oversight.
You will work on various smaller-scale projects within a chemical manufacturing environment, managing timelines, contractors, and the overall project execution. This is an exciting opportunity offering competitive rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver smaller-scale projects within a chemical manufacturing environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project completion. Work closely with the on-site management team to ensure successful project execution. Track and manage project timelines to ensure deadlines are met. Oversee the design process and coordinate with contractors. Manage financial and accounting aspects of the project.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5-8 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, or management. Previous experience working in a COMAH regulated or process environment. Good knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Strong knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
