About the Role: As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing engineering changes and coordinating the engineering aspects of customer New Product Introductions (NPIs) within the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering changes are effectively managed and tracked, and that new products are successfully onboarded. Proven experience in project engineering, preferably within the electronics manufacturing industry. Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of engineering change management, NPI processes, and quality tools such as PFMEA. Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyse data, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Leadership Skills:

Ability to mentor and lead other engineers working on the project. Qualifications:

HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant field, with experience in ISO: 9001:2015 and Six Sigma methodologies. Security Clearance:

Must currently hold or be able to obtain SC (Security Check) clearance without any issues. Key Responsibilities: Engineering Change Management:

Ensure any engineering changes are managed and tracked across teams effectively. Project Leadership:

Take the engineering lead on projects for customers, ensuring necessary project plans are in place and procedures are followed. Customer Interaction:

Attend customer meetings and facilitate excellent customer experience by leveraging wider engineering resources. NPI Management:

Ensure all necessary requirements are captured and detailed well in advance of any customer NPI/build. LEAN Processes:

Promote opportunities for LEAN processes and commercial interaction to drive higher margins. Progress Reporting:

Report on progress and escalations within engineering and wider cross-functional teams. Quality Assurance:

Verify design and product compliance with company standards and customer specifications. Cost Management:

Liaise with the bids team on cost submissions and collation of details. Mentorship:

Tutor junior employees on product launch processes and provide feedback for product development. Apply Now!
