Our client is a global manufacturing business with multiple sites across the UK. Due to growth and a recent acquisition, our client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their Projects team as a Project Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will play a pivotal role in planning and delivering various improvement and expansion projects.
This position is based in Herefordshire and easily accessible from the A40.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee site projects from initiation to completion - projects include equipment upgrades. Manage all Capex Projects on-site. Handle contractor management, ensuring all Health & Safety procedures comply with company policies. Source cost-effective solutions and collaborate with OEMs/Suppliers for optimal return on investment. Complete snag lists, site handover protocols, and update site folders. Plan, coordinate, and communicate effectively with departments across all sites. Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified engineer with a decisive and proactive approach. Enjoys working on projects and has the ability to meet deadlines. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment. CAD knowledge. Benefits:
