PROJECT HSE ENGINEER - CONTRACT – NORTH WALES Our Client, an advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants contractor, is currently looking for a Project HSE Engineer to join the team based on site in North Wales for a period of 6 months for the final stages of a facility shutdown. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Should have site HSE experience and be capable of being client facing and forming good relationships with clients and subcontractors. Onshore experience required. Experience of applicable local legislation and International Standards (ISO14001 and OSHAS18001). Experience in accident / incident investigation. Experience in HSE Risk Management activities. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide necessary support to ensure that all project engineering and operational activities carried out by the client are conducted in strict accordance with the Client HSE Requirements, Client HSE Standards, applicable local legislation and International Standards (ISO14001 and OSHAS18001). Take part in accident / incident investigation. Participate in HSE Risk Management activities. Ensure that Project HSE plans and procedures are developed and implemented throughout the entire project life. Plan and conduct HSE audits and reviews toward project team and subcontracted activities. Assist the Project engineering and management teams in the Risk Management process (i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management Process, Risk Assessment, etc). Document project specific environmental aspects / impacts and related management measures. RATE : Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for. DURATION : 6 months with a possible extension. We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match client’s specifications and can work in the UK.
