DCT Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to join our client as Engineering Project Manager based in Widnes. Your projects involve managing the manufacturing element of the organisation ensuring high quality business activities with maximum efficiency, service, and profitability for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Helping to ensure your colleagues understand that the organisation's profits and achievements are reflected in all its operations and activities - including relationships with customers. Meet your targets and those of the team as a whole. The smooth running of the initial enquiry, design, manufacturing organisation, and installation team. Assist senior management team with training and development of the team using your previous experiences. Assist senior management team in achieving maximum customer satisfaction in accordance with organisation plans. Incorporate ISO standards (UKCA) with steelwork projects. Assist senior management team in achieving desired company targets/objectives and day-to-day running of the company's operations. Meet customers to discuss their requirements and offer solutions, resulting in contract agreements. Work with the design team to provide quotations and drawings to the client. Lead and motivate the workshop and fabrication team to ensure they are working to the production plan and meeting/exceeding KPIs. Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all outsourced processes are completed on time and to the correct quality. Manage installations to ensure the job is completed on time and to the customer's complete satisfaction. Effectively utilise the bespoke project planning database to track all jobs and manage costs and budget. In conjunction with the Commercial Director, identify new business opportunities both with new and existing clients. Project Management - Quotations/risk management/cost control/quality control/customer sign off.
