Programme Management is at the heart of delivering real added value to the Airbus business. It is essential in delivering innovative products to our customers in an agreed timescale, within an allocated budget, and to the highest of quality standards. This role is within the Project Management Office, working alongside our programme leaders. This could be on one of our aircraft programmes, within one of the many supporting functions such as Engineering, Programmes or within the operation itself. What you will be doing:

You will learn to deploy Best Practice project management methods and tools within our programmes, projects and functions. This could include: Agile and waterfall project set up; Project maturity and governance including lessons learnt; Integrated schedule planning; Baselining projects and identifying critical path activities; Risk and opportunity management; Creating and maintaining digital project monitoring and control processes; Finance monitoring and control. You will be working alongside multi-functional team members on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all team members are delivering on time, on cost and on quality as well as understanding how each function contributes to project success. Requirements:

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore, it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

Studying towards a degree in Project Management, Business, Economics, Information Technology and/or Systems, Engineering, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems, or equivalent; Experience of project working within a team; Ability to listen, understand and respond in a constructive manner; Willingness to handle changes on a day-to-day basis; Curious and challenging mind-set; Ability to speak up; Team spirit and positive outlook; Nice to have data management and visualisation skills.
