Join our client's team as a Project Manager and play a key role in the development of a floating offshore wind farm in Scotland.

Role Overview

Manage the safe execution of offshore activities and ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations. Manage the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment, obtain offshore consents and carry out stakeholder management for the offshore scopes, including engagement of fisheries representatives. Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, fostering team spirit and morale through intense periods of work. Manage consultants to deliver the offshore elements of the Environmental Impact Assessment, including scoping and mitigation plans. Forecast and manage necessary budgets for the project. Produce work-scopes and specifications for delivery at all stages of the project. Manage tender processes and assessments for surveys, studies, and technical support. Liaise with engineering packages, consultants, and contractors to input into design envelope and concept selection. Identify and manage risks, issues, and impacts to the project. Collaborate with Stakeholder Manager, Environment Manager, and Land Project Manager. Liaise with national government and regulatory authorities to benefit the project. Lead and participate in identification and implementation of consenting/compliance strategies. Ensure high levels of quality control throughout the process.

Skills & Qualifications

PMP certification or equivalent project management experience. Experience in offshore development and management of multi-disciplinary teams. Strong planning and analysis skills with the ability to anticipate problems and implement solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain team morale during intense work periods. Degree in a technical discipline preferred. Strong project management capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Relevant professional qualification is desirable.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred. PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
