Finchley, North London The Company This Project Manager’s role is with one of the UK's leading fit out contractors. They have an excellent reputation and are responsible for refurbishing some of the region’s most iconic buildings. The Role We are looking for a Project Manager (site-based lead) who has the ability to lead and take ownership of a refurbishment scheme on a government building - project value is £8.5M. Overall responsibility for the success of a project ensuring it is handed over on time, to the client’s expectations and within budget. Manage project programme. Manage quality expectations and ensure these are achieved. Assist with site establishment and site logistics. Manage all requirements for Health, Safety and environment compliance. Identify and manage risk. Ensure delivery against the project budgets. Agree requirements for time, cost and quality aspects of trade contractor packages. To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging approach. Previous experience of working on government projects/framework is essential. Please note this role is not to work within IT; it is working within the fit out sector of construction. Enhanced DBS and Security clearance is crucial for this role; do not apply if you do not have either of these. Experience within government projects is key.
