We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join an established main contractor on a unique industrial development project in Bromley. This project involves the £8.5m refurbishment of a waste recycling site, offering a chance to lead a distinctive and impactful initiative.
Role Overview
As the Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of this industrial development project, ensuring its successful delivery within budget and on schedule. The role requires a skilled leader with expertise in program management, stakeholder coordination, and a deep understanding of JCT contracts.
Responsibilities:
Deliver the waste recycling refurbishment project on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Plan and monitor project progress using Asta or Microsoft Projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality benchmarks. Collaborate with subcontractors, site teams, and stakeholders to maintain seamless project execution. Manage JCT contracts effectively, addressing issues promptly. Provide regular updates on milestones, costs, and progress to senior management.
Requirements:
A proven track record of success managing industrial or complex refurbishment projects. Strong experience with JCT contracts and program management tools such as Asta or Microsoft Projects. Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications. Preferably hold a Temporary Works Coordinator ticket. A background in permanent positions, demonstrating career longevity and commitment. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
