About the Company: We are recruiting on behalf of a strong Tier 2 Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering exceptional projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and student accommodations. As they embark on a significant £77M student accommodation project in Canterbury, they are seeking a well-rounded Project Manager to lead and drive this development.

Project Overview: This exciting project entails the construction of 840 student accommodation units, divided across four blocks. Demolition will commence in February 2025, with the project running over a 120-week program. This is a prime opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a pivotal role in a high-profile development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the project from inception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resources to achieve project goals.

* Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including subcontractor management, health and safety compliance, and quality control.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and the project team, ensuring clear communication and efficient problem-solving.

* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale construction projects, particularly in student accommodation or residential developments.

* Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams effectively.

* Excellent understanding of construction processes, contracts, and safety regulations.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.

* Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., PMP, CIOB)
