Project Manager Contractor We at Reddbrick are recruiting for a leading Regional Family owned contractor delivering Education, Commercial, Hotels and Leisure Facilities, Student accommodation and Retirement Living schemes. Future works will be in the Yorkshire and East Midlands region. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager looking to take the next step in their career, to join the dynamic team.

Project Manager Overview As a Project Manager, you will oversee the construction of commercial builds from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Projects will range from smaller complex builds to larger builds up to 30m.

Project Manager Responsibilities Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed Be involved with projects from Tender through to completion Write and review the programme of works Work closely with subcontractors and maintain quality control Work closely with all members of the site delivery team and proactively drive communication and problem solving Organise & control the construction of development in accordance with the specification provided Ensure construction complies with all statutory authorities Establish good working relationships with subcontractors to ensure timely connections Establish and maintain good relationships with the Client Prepare material take offs and schedule Adhere to all the site wide rules that are implemented Handover completed scheme to client on time, to agreed quality standard and budget Minimum Requirements A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in managing construction projects circa 10m in Education, Accommodation and commercial schemes. Experience in Bids, Programming and management of Design would be beneficial. Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential. First Aid, CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card, and other relevant qualifications are desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
